July 2010: ONS SME Innovation Award

Reelwell has been nominated for the ONS SME Innovation Award 2010.

"We have received many exciting applications for the Innovation Awards", says Siri Helle Friedemann, who is chair of the ONS Innovation Award Jury. "In particular, there are several good applications nominated in the fields of drilling and well technology.

If implemented, these products and services have the potential to result in major reductions in both costs and carbon footprints. There are also applications in the fields of safety and monitoring - issues that are of major current relevance", says Friedemann.

The jury will now continue its work to identify the five finalists for each of the Innovation Awards, and will eventually decide on the winners. These will be announced at a special Innovation Lunch that will be held in Hall A at the Stavanger Forum arena between 12 midday and 13.30 on Wednesday 25 August. Unquote
